Yes! She bought me crayons and paper, and she's taught me to write human!
She's calmed down a lot. I still don't know why she was scared of me, though.

Some humans are scared of ghost types, especially ones who haven't seen them before. Mine was nervous about me at first too. A-ah, I'm sorry, I should introduce myself. I'm Edmund, what is your name?

[ A Maractus appears on screen, clutching a piece of paper in her spiked paw in a manner that suggests she feels a bit silly about doing this. She clears her throat. ]
"Um, hello! I hope you don't mind, but I saw your drawing and, well, I was inspired to draw myself and my trainer."
[ The picture she shyly shows to the camera is drawn in pen on what appears to be hotel notepad paper. ]
"It's not as good as yours, but, well..." [ She holds up her spikes as explanation. ] "I just thought I'd show you! My name is Palko, by the way. What's yours?"

I don't mind! It's fun to draw people.
And you did really well with those hands, too! I'm Blodwen. Nice to meet you, Palko!
{....blodwen has no off button when talking to new people, apparently.}

[ Palko doesn't seem to take offense at the "with those hands" comment. On the contrary, she seems rather flattered and even blushes a bit. ]
"Thank you! I'm glad you like it!" [ She smiles. ] "Blodwen... what a pretty name! Does it mean anything?"

Um.... I think it means 'white flower'..?
She - my trainer! - she took a long time to name me. I'm not really sure why, though.

"White flower! That's so pretty! Although it would make more sense if you were a grass type, like me!" [ WAIT was that insensitive ] "Not that there's anything wrong with being a ghost type, of course!"
"My trainer took a long time to name me, too! I think it was because she wanted to make sure the name she came up with was one that I'd like and that would fit me. I really do like the name that she gave me, so I guess it worked out. Maybe that's what your trainer was thinking?"

"Aster? That's another kind of flower, isn't it? Your trainer must really like flowers! I think mine is a fan of grass types herself. I mean, there's me, and Hanemaru, and she said I was named after a friend of hers who's a plant too!"
